Case Structure:
Client & Challenge: A large municipal water utility had an old, dispersed control room setup that prevented centralized monitoring and efficient dispatch of the entire plant's processes, leading to data silos and response delays.
Our Solution: Designed and deployed a completely new central control room integrated solution.
System Architecture:
Control Center Furniture: Customized a curved dispatch and command console and a multi-screen video wall, optimizing ergonomics and field of view.
Hardware Platform: Deployed multiple industrial-grade servers and wall-mount industrial PCs as data acquisition and processing nodes.
Visualization Software: Integrated with the SCADA system to provide intuitive display of the plant-wide process flow diagram, real-time data, alarm overview, and energy consumption KPIs on the large monitoring screen.
High Availability: Employed redundant configurations for critical networks and servers. An industrial UPS secured the control center's power supply.
Technical Highlights: 24/7 continuous operational stability, large-scale data visualization, dustproof and quiet operation design.
Achieved Outcomes: Achieved 'single-screen overview' of the entire process from water intake, treatment to distribution. Dispatch efficiency improved by 40%, and abnormal alarm response speed increased by 70%, establishing it as an industry benchmark for smart water plants.
